week ending 5/6/15

This week we have started talking about space. We have found out about gravity and what astronauts wear in the space station. We have also watched some videcs of the international space station on You Tube to see how the astronauts live in space.

We have read the book "The Aliens are Coming" and have made up our own wierd and wonderful aliens - it was fun talking about them! We are turning our pavillion outside into an alien space ship so we have also painted some starry skies. This afternoon we are making up exciting planets - photos next week when we have finished!

We have also focussed on 2d and 3d shape this week and have made amazing rocket models. Reception are very good at recognising and naming 3d shapes - well done!
