Week ending 29.11.19

Date: 29th Nov 2019 @ 1:29pm

This week we have carried on working on take away and have also worked on more and less.

In phonics Reception have worked on sh ch and th. They are tricky sounds to remember but we have worked hard!

We have read the story ‘The Disgusting Sandwich’. We made up our own disgusting sandwiches and wrote lists of what we would put in them to taste really disgusting. On Thursday morning we started to make our own disgusting sandwiches. We spread peanut butter on the bread and then made some bugs. We made slugs, snails, caterpillars and earwigs and put them in our sandwiches - urgh! When we went to the woods we took our sandwiches and then added leaves, grass, sticks, stones and all sorts of other slimy things. Once the sandwiches were made we jumped on them so they were all squashed, just like in the story. Then we left them for the badgers and the animals that live in our wood - just like in the story!
