Week ending 24.5.19

We have spent a lot of time in our garden this week, making the most of the sunny weather. We learnt how to write instructions and iced ladybird biscuits earlier in the week. We have also worked hard on our numbers. Reception have done a lot of subtraction and Nursery have worked on counting and number recognition.

In the woods on Thursday we found out about woodlice. We found out where they live and what they like to eat. We also learnt that they have 14 legs. We made ourselves into woodlice counting our legs to make sure we had enough! We used our bug spotting sheets and had lots of fun looking for bugs in the woods.
