Week ending 22.3.19

Date: 22nd Mar 2019 @ 1:39pm

This week we have really worked on our fine motor skills and have wound, twisted, painted, threaded and tied wool, pom poms and sticks onto our mobiles. They look beautiful.

We have worked hard on our numbers, focussing on more and less. Reception have worked on their take always.

We have carried on working on 2 and 3d shape, playing a feely bag game where we had to describe and name the shape.

We have also worked on our writing. We read ‘Once Upon a Time’ and wrote captions to go with the pictures. We talked a lot about the characters in the book and which fairy tale they belong to.

On Thursday we finally got to do Forest School because it wasn’t pouring down! We looked for signs of spring and then made some wild flower seed bombs. We made extra ones that we can plant in the woods and also in our garden at school.
