week ending 20/11/15

This week we have found out all about elephants. We wrote some questions about elephants and then used the Internet to find the answers to the questions. Reception children then wrote some elephant facts in a little book.

We have worked hard to make lots of different patterns - just like Elmer. We have investigated what happens when you mix yellow & red paint, and also when you mix blue and yellow paint. There are some brightly coloured elephants in the claokroom. There are also some super grey elephants in the cloakroom. We used a screw to scratch an elephant into the cardboard and then used charcoal to make the outline show up - magic!
