Week ending 15.11.19

Date: 15th Nov 2019 @ 1:30pm

We started the week talking about Remembrance. We took our poppy stones into the sensory garden and added them to the poppy. We were very quiet.

On Tuesday Daniel brought his mantis to school for the day. We spent a long time looking at him and finding out facts about praying mantises.

We have worked hard on our numbers this week. We have completed simple addition work and some Reception have recorded their number sentences.

We read the book Snail Trail and made our own snail trail adventures. When we went to the woods we looked for snails and other bugs underneath the logs. We found woodlice, beetles, snails, worms, eggs and spiders. We also gave the bug house in the woods a make over and added lots of new leaves and sticks to make it cosy for the bugs over the winter.
