week ending 14/10/16

This week we have been using our new Numicon resources - it's been great using them to count and recognise numbers. We have done lots of playing with the number tiles and pattern making too.

We have been on a 2d shape hunt round Treetops and in the garden - looking for all sorts of shapes and talking about their properties.

We have been junk modelling on a huge scale - using big boxes in groups to make cars, castles, dragons....we played in the garden too with them which was great fun.

On Thursday we made up a new bear hunt story - instead of a bear hunt, we went on a dinosaur hunt and found all sorts of interesting things. Everybody did some great writing!
