Week ending 13th November

We have had a lovely day today in Manchester watching Elmer - it was great fun. We sang, danced, waved out Elmer puppets and shook our shakers.

Yesterday Gemma Dunne came in and played her viola. We sang some of the Elmer songs and then in the afternoon found out about the other orchestral instruments we have seen today. We listened to some music to see what they sounded like and then played our instruments in Treetops, just like an orchestra.

During the week we have made an Elmer cafe in Treetops and had a great time playing in it. We have also used acrylic paints and made our own patchwork Elmer. We have counted biscuits and also written menus to go in the cafe.
