Visit to Techniquest

Class Four had a great time on their visit to Techniquest on Friday.  One of the purposes of the visit was to take part in a Computing workshop about control technology.  The children worked in pairs with their instructor to build Lego models and use software to make the models move and make sounds.

The other part of the visit enabled them to visit the science zones, and benefit from hands-on activities which demonstrated scientific ideas and principles.  Thank you to Chris Lightfoot, Class Four's link governor, who accompanied the visit.  The children were very well behaved and very focused on their activities.
