Science workshop

Date: 17th Mar 2017 @ 9:39pm

Scott came in today to talk to Class Four about forces.  Apart from some practical activities and demonstrations, the children made balancing birds, by cutting out bird templates, attaching coin weights to them and making them balance on fingers, noses or anywhere else they could think of!

This afternoon, they watched Scott's science show, which included space and rocket science.

Science Week has included working on insect hotels and looking at newts with the Cheshire Wildlife Trust; visiting the Liverpool Philharmonic to think about music and sound, writing poems connected with sound, listening to a talk from the Dogs' Trust about animal adaptation and today's science workshop - a great week all round!
