Science Week

Our first week back last week was science week when the topic for the whole school was 'Light'.

Class 1 used the light table, torches, mirrors and rotating coloured lights to experiment with bouncing and bending light in the dark tent. We also made light boxes or lanterns experimenting with transparent, translucent and opaque materials for the windows. We discussed sources of light and explored how shadows are made. We made our own shadow puppets which we trialed with torches against our board.
