Galaxies and nebulae

Date: 14th Jan 2016 @ 9:35pm

In Class Four, we have been linking our science theme of Earth and Space with our school science week, and with art.  Using black card as their background for space, the children looked at images taken by the Hubble telescope, far out into space.

They used the images to generate their own ideas of what galaxies and nebulae might look like, combining different coloured oil pastels to get the space effects.  They are on display in the school hall if you would like to see them.
