Election special!

Date: 7th Jun 2017 @ 10:28pm

In Class Four this week, we have been discussing the General Election and how the government of Britain works. From understanding about the Houses of Parliament to looking at simplified versions of each party's manifesto pledges, it has been an interesting week.

Many of the children have been quite well-informed about some of the well-known politicians, and they certainly were able to express some quite strong versions about the proposals in the manifestos.  We conducted our own poll of who would vote for each party and have also been using the opportunity to develop a piece of writing, explaining what they have learned.

Will their election result match the actual one?
