DT - Making hats

This term, the children are designing their own hats, which have a London theme.  They have researched ideas, developed their own designs and today bega working on their prototypes, to see how the construction of their hat would work.

It was quite a challenge to begin with, and mistakes were made - but this is the idea of making the prototype, to be able to spot the problems and any changes which will need to be made for the real product.
