Bread making

Date: 15th Jun 2016 @ 8:09pm

We had a great time making bread today, as part of our Food Technology project.  It also linked in with reading scales in Maths, and also our Africa topic, as well as Literacy!

Over the last couple of weeks, the children have been researching different types of bread, looking at how bread is made and where the ingredients come from.  They all chose a recipe to use or adapt, and we had a super varety of differently shaped loaves, naan breads, chapattis, rolls and ciabattas.

It was quite a hectic morning, with everyone making different kinds of bread but there were some wonderful results, as you can see.  I hope everyone enjoyed eating them!
