Bizarre bugs!

Date: 20th Oct 2015 @ 7:03pm

In this afternoon's science lesson, following up the work they have been doing on evolution and inheritance, the children were designing their own bugs.

Their challenge was to create a male and female version of the bug, ensuring that they had slightly different characteristics. After they had created these two, they had to create an offspring for the pair, deciding which features the offspring would inherit from its parents.  Their bugs were created with a variety of craft materials, from, lollipop sticks, to goggly eyes and pom-poms!

Have a look at some of their results.
