Birdbox news!

Date: 25th Mar 2020 @ 3:45pm

Our blue tits (or great tits - not sure which yet), have returned to our birdbox and while we were all busy with other issues to sort out at the moment, the birds have popped in and started building.

I shall be posting regular photos of how they are getting on, so keep checking.

Maybe children could research the birds, draw pictures or create artwork; write a diary noting the changes in the nest; write a story about the bird family.  It may be particularly interesting for Class Four children, who were all making their own nests as their DT project this term - they found out just how tricky a task it was!

PARENTS - if you use your website login provided for parents' evening appointments, you can leave comments on the blog.

18th April:  The birds have continued towork on the nest, but there is no sign of any eggs yet!
